LUBRICANTS

Neatsfoot Oils (NFO) polyol esters are widely used as a lubricity additive for the metalworking industry.  Unlike their vegetable or plant counterparts, our products are 100% animal-based, which are more thermally and oxidatively more stable due to lower Iodine Number that is a measure of double bonds in a molecule.  If you have higher temperature applications, say, constantly, over average 50oC in your fluid temperatures, you may want to consider our NFO esters.  Steel or aluminum rolling uses NFO esters for price, performance and biodegradability reasons.
